Curt has over 25 years experience developing and supporting complex systems and leading technology and other business organizations. Prior to joining Answer Financial, Curt led the transformation of technology for the Encompass Insurance Company, led the technology implementation for North Light Specialty Insurance Company, a startup insurance carrier, and led a variety of other technology organizations for the Allstate Corporation. Curt began his career with Accenture, where he helped Fortune 500, middle market, and startup clients win in the marketplace through technology, management, and strategy consulting services. Curt holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois.
Tom has more than 30 years of cumulative business experience and more than 15 years in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Answer Financial in 2016, Tom was the Director of Business Development at Esurance before being promoted to Vice President, Sales and Agency Marketing where he built out the Esurance sales operations. During his time with Esurance, Tom secured numerous business development relationships with banks and other institutions including Answer Financial. Following Esurance, Tom joined HealthMarkets to lead their direct sales operation. Throughout his career, Tom has worked with a number of top companies including Hewlett Packard and Dell. Tom received his under graduate degree from Northwestern University and a Masters from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Peter has over 30 years of operations and technology experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Answer Financial in 2001, Peter served as CIO and Sr. Solutions Officer for InsLogic Corporation. In addition to InsLogic, Peter also served as Vice President, Application Solutions and Underwriting for Examination Management Services, where he focused on business solutions for the life insurance category.
Jennifer is responsible for leading and developing key Human Resource operations at Answer, including associate development, recruitment, quality & audit, and maintaining essential controls for governance and compliance. Jennifer has nearly 2 decades of hands-on experience in the quantifiable organizational processes of large and international workforces. Prior to joining Answer in 2018, she served as Vice President, Human Resources at Platinum Equity Advisors, overseeing all human resource initiatives and talent acquisition. She began her career as a business analyst with Gartner and a project manager with Hewlett Packard before she entered HR leadership. Jennifer is a graduate of Boston College.
Fred has more than 20 years of experience in developing strategies and launching new businesses in the technology space. Prior to joining Answer Financial in 2016, Fred led efforts to relaunch Liberty Media’s Gifts.com business and held senior roles at IAC’s CityGrid business unit. Fred began his career as a strategy consultant with Monitor Group where he was responsible for providing strategic advice to Fortune 100 companies. Fred holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California.
Shelby has been with Answer Financial since 2000 and brings more than 20 years in the legal profession to her role. As counsel, Shelby oversees regulatory compliance and risk management across all business entities, transactions and marketing matters for the company nationally. Her role covers a broad spectrum of specialties including corporate governance, data privacy and information security policies, supplier and business development contracting, digital and direct marketing compliance and licensing. Additionally, Shelby is the company’s Corporate Secretary and reports to the Board of Directors on legal issues for the company.
Teddy has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry as a consultant and in business development. Prior to joining Answer Financial in 2004, Teddy was a consultant with Deloitte & Touche, where he advised both Fortune 500 and middle market clients in process improvement projects. His primary industry focus was insurance and included clients such as CNA, the Prudential, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, American Bankers Insurance Group (now Assurant Solutions) and Life of Jamaica. Teddy was also a Marketing Director for CNA, where he helped launch a start-up professional-employer-organization subsidiary. Teddy earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jeff has more than 15 year of experience in sales and marketing for the insurance and automotive industries. Prior to joining Answer Financial in 2017, Jeff served as a Product Line Manager for Allstate before being promoted to a Senior Marketing Manager. During his time with Allstate, Jeff was responsible for marketing the company’s Specialty Lines including motorcycle, boat, renter, condominium, landlord, scheduled property and personal umbrella. Jeff began his career as a Branch Manager for Budget Car Rental where he directed sales efforts for three separate locations. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
Kevin has more than 25 years of sales management experience within the banking and financial services industry, with an extensive focus on insurance. Prior to joining Answer Financial in 2017, Kevin was National Sales Manager for American National Insurance Company. Previously, he served in multiple director-level positions for several insurance and marketing administrators like Coverdell & Company and IMAC. Kevin began his career in insurance as a claims adjuster for Southern Heritage Insurance Company before being promoted to a lead underwriter and state manager. Kevin is a graduate of Perimeter College in Atlanta, GA.
