Persons Excluded

In a No-Fault state, these are the persons to whom First-Party Benefits may or must be withheld from in the event of an accident. Persons intentionally causing injury, vehicle converters, and persons committing felonies are commonly excluded from being covered by a First Party Benefit. “May and “must” refers to whether a specified person may be excluded from benefits at the insurance companies option or whether such specified persons must be statutorily excluded from the policies benefits, or whether the insured waived coverage from an insurance company.
