Comparative Negligence |

These are damages that are modified in proportion to the driver's degree of negligence or fault in an accident. For instance, if you were found to be only half at fault, you would be responsible for half the damages. Courts sometimes award both parties a percent of the total damages, depending on their respective degrees of fault. |
