Misstatement of Age or Sex |
|

This is a provision in a life insurance policy that states the action to be taken if a misstatement of age or sex by the person being insured is discovered at any time in the future. Normally, upon discovery of a misstatement of age or sex the death benefit is adjusted to reflect the amount that the premiums paid would have purchased if the true age or sex of the person being insured had been known at the time the policy was issued. |
