Assuming the policy is not surrendered, these options are the choices available to a policyowner concerning the way in which the cash value of a whole life or interest-sensitive whole life insurance policy will be applied in the event a premium is not paid when due. The most common non-forfeiture options are Extended Term Insurance and Reduced Paid-Up Insurance. |
