Weiss analyzes a company's future ability to pay its claims under difficult economic conditions when potential for liquidity problems is increased. This rating takes into account: 1) risk-adjusted capital ratios, 2) liquidity and 3) insurance risk in relation to the capital that the company has to cover those risks during periods of recession.
