Senior Leadership Team
Bill is an accomplished leader within the Allstate family of companies, skilled in driving profitable growth and innovation. He is responsible for both Answer Financial and Ivantage Brokerage, creating synergies to benefit customers across both organizations through his dual leadership. Bill is focused on driving Answer’s strategic vision to expand its omnichannel auto, home, and small business insurance solutions. Prior to joining Answer and Ivantage, Bill joined the Allstate corporation in 1987 and has held several leadership positions. His career with Allstate includes serving as COO/Vice President Personal Lines Brokerage and Vice President of Agency Sales, roles that have given him expansive understanding of the insurance industry from multiple angles.
Shelby has been with Answer Financial since 2000 and brings more than 20 years in the legal profession to her role. As counsel, Shelby oversees regulatory compliance and risk management across all business entities, transactions and marketing matters for the company nationally. Her role covers a broad spectrum of specialties including corporate governance, data privacy and information security policies, supplier and business development contracting, digital and direct marketing compliance and licensing. Additionally, Shelby is the company’s Corporate Secretary and reports to the Board of Directors on legal issues for the company.
Joseph is responsible for leading all finance, accounting and data analytics efforts. He has been with Answer Financial since 2015 and brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and corporate planning for several large-scale financial institutions and multinational companies. Prior to joining the organization, he served as First Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis at East West Bank. Joseph holds a Master of Business Administration from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Leslie Neill brings nearly three decades of experience in the insurance industry, with a career spanning underwriting, distribution, and business development. In her current role, Leslie leads the Direct-to-Consumer Sales and Service Channel for both Answer Financial and Ivantage. She began as a commercial lines specialist and steadily advanced into leadership roles, where she consistently delivered results across multiple business areas. She holds degrees in Management and Business from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Pat Parrington leads the Business Development/Carrier Management and Strategic Partnerships teams for Answer Financial and Ivantage Select Agency. Pat has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years in various capacities including claims, reinsurance, relationship management and business development. Pat also has a background in affinity sales and marketing, spending a few years helping to establish a new team within Allstate where he led the sales team for Allstate Affinity Solutions. Pat is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.
Kate Washburn is an executive-level leader with experience across multiple corporate functions and consumer channels within Allstate. In her role as Strategic & Operations Director, for both Answer Financial and Ivantage, Kate has demonstrated her abilities in problem solving, decision making, and communication to influence key stakeholders with a proven record of delivering innovative solutions and achieving organizational goals. She holds multiple degrees in finance, including an MBA from DePaul University Kellstadt School of Business.
