Beyond covering you for damage to others (liability and property damage), your policy can cover your car against accidents (collision) with other cars or objects. It can cover your cars against damage from theft, vandalism, and other mishaps (comprehensive). It can also cover you and your passengers against accidents with uninsured motorists or motorists without enough insurance to pay your damages and medical costs. Medical Payments can also cover you and your passengers for medical expenses as a result of injuries.
